     Have you Imagine going to a mall and spotted something you really need and it's on sale? But when you reach your pocket there is no cash available for your disposal?
How frustrating it is? The thing that you want to buy just within your grab but you can't bring it home. And it happens every time when you came back to the mall, because you already have money, you can no longer find it because it is already sold out or the price is not the same anymore because they are no longer in sale.

You can stop this from happening to you again. That is why some generous banks offer credit cards. If you don't have one just visit your nearest bank and inquire how to have one.  Here is some list why it's good to have a credit card.

1. Purchasing online will be easy.
     Have you try to shop online? If you are one of the billions of people who surf online  everyday chances are you see so many offered product online. But one thing is most common to those online offered products or services, they only accept payment thru credit card. Though there some option but most of the time the only convenient way to pay it is thru credit card. The best thing if you pay thru credit card is that some company offer a discount or in some cases your credit card company does not charge you any monthly interest. Airline tickets are less expensive if you purchase them in advance so try to plan your vacation a head and use your credit card. But make sure read all the details before you click purchase.

2. Convenient.
    You can use your credit card anywhere. You don't have the hassle of bringing tons of cash with you; just a swipe on your card and all will be paid. Make sure though that you will have enough balance on your card before making any purchase. You can also make an automatic monthly payment of your insurance, your cable, your subscription and more using your credit card. That would be less hassle for you rather than going to the banks or some payment centers where the line is long. You save a lot of time to do something else.

3. Emergency.
    We know there are something's in life happens at an unexpected moment. Especially when it comes to your own health or you're family member's health. We know the burden of looking for friends or relatives to help you out. When cash is urgently needed and you have none or your bank is not open that would be a nightmare. Credit card can be your best help. You will have a ready source of payment if there is an emergency. I hope though that you won't use your credit card for this reason. Strive to be healthy everyday.

4. You can tract your expenses.
    Every month your credit card company will sent you billing statements. This will help you look back at the expenses you made for the one month period. Bills are our obligations we need to pay. But look at bills this way. You can tract your expenses and therefore you can adjust your spending habits if you see something you don't like. You can also check back if you spend wisely or not. The good thing about credit also if you don't have enough amount to pay for your bill this month you can just pay the minimum amount then pay the rest of it later. Although, I will not recommend it because, balances that are not paid on time will earn interest. Just in case your salary or your sales commission does not arrived on time you pay your bills later. But make sure you will pay them, it will be good for your credit score.
                                                           

5. Protection from fraud and theft.
  Have you heard news about credit card fraud? Yes there are people victimizing credit card holders The good news is credit card companies are spending millions of money to counter this kind of activities to protect their customers. Card holders should be aware about this to protect you and not be a victim of these scumbags.In the event your card get lost or stolen it is better to call your bank immediately so they can block your card. Make sure that your credit card will not leave your sight when you make some payment. This is your card be aware where it was swipe and when. Also you can call your credit card companies and make an arrangement with them that if you see some purchases above, for example 200 dollars a day, for them to contact you. In that way, you are protecting yourself about sudden rush to spend, someone reminded you of your big purchase, and it also give you protection from fraud and that the one who purchase is really you not somebody else.
This is just some tips for you to have some peace of mind owning a credit card.

I will recommend though to those who don't have credit card yet to choose credit card companies that have good reputation. You can scout them all over the place and see who offer more perks, less interest, no annual fees and more before deciding to get one.  Ultimately the deciding factor is you. You can get credit card but also be discipline in using them. Credit card is your friend, use it wisely. So apply one now and experience the benefits your credit card can give you.

5 Things I like about BPO/Call Center Industry in the Philippines.

Many people now in the Philippines are working in the BPO industry. Call Centers are sprouting anywhere and it give many employment opportunities to a lot of us. Here are some list I can say why I like BPO or Business Process Outsourcing.

1. Salary- BPO Companies offer much higher salary compared to other local companies in the Philippines. That itself are some motivating factors why people shift from a local traditional job to a BPO industry. So if you are interested you can scout from BPO employees and ask them how much their company offer before you decide what particular BPO industry you will join.

2. Medical Benefits- This particular benefits are given not only for the employee but also for their family members. Some employee stay working in a BPO industry due to this particular benefits that they cannot find in some other industry. BPO company offer this benefits some up to 3 dependents or more. The Medical benefits  they offer is really a big help for family during time of hospitalization and other medical needs.

3.Promotion-  Promotion is quite faster in a BPO industry. Of course company would also look at your qualification before you are considered to be promoted.Things like your work attitude, attendance, your monthly statistics and dedication. But it is realistic that one can be promoted in less than a year working in this industry.

4.No age Discrimination- As long as you are healthy enough to work have the skill that match to the job required you can be hired. Age is not a big deal. I even know of people in their 40 and 50 and even 60's apply for a BPO company and get hired and earn and decent income. And if you know different language you can speak like Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese etc., depend on the need of the company, there are additional skills allowance on top of your basic salary.

5.Working Environment- Working environment is very nice also. Since most of the job are done at night. Companies offer also sleeping room for their employee to rest or take a nap. The floor is well lighted to boast your mood and most of the people are friendly to each other. Team efforts are very encourage to achieve company's goal. Annual, Semi annual or even monthly town hall are being held to boast camaraderie among peers. Sports feast, free gym inside and outside of the office are also offered to encourage health and fitness awareness.Team buildings and voluntary charitable works are also program to not  only focus on work but also for having fun and giving back.

BPO industry started in 1999 and it never stop  growing here in our country. In fact it is the fastest growing industry and it continued to this day. Providing jobs and unlimited opportunities to many people. .So if you are one of those newly graduated or people would like to shift new career. How to prepare for a Typhoon.

   

      Every now and then typhoon visit the Philippines. It is not a surprise since we live near the pacific ocean where typhoons usually form. For the past ten years Typhoons give so much hassle and damage to properties and most of all to human life.
Here are some things to do to prepare yourself and your family from a typhoon.

1. Listen to the news from radio, television, or read thru the internet regarding update about the coming typhoon. Know where it is heading, when it will hit, how strong and see if you are near or far from the path of the typhoon.

2.Prepare the basic you and your family need for the next 3 days or  make it a week. Shop from nearby store and stuck up food, can goods, water, flashlights, candles, extra load for your cellphone and don't forget to charge your batteries. Remember electricity can be cut off without a warning during a typhoon.

3.Make sure to throw away your garbage properly. This will help stop clogging when  water start to come. We can't avoid flood some typhoons bring many rains aside from strong winds. But it will help a lot if we clean our place properly. And if everybody do it will make a big difference. Look the picture below?

This is what happen to japan. Floods came but if you look at the water it is clear. It is not mixed with garbage. So cleaning after the typhoon would be much easy.

4. If you have animals make sure to take care of them and prepare them also for the uncertainty of the  up coming typhoon. Make sure their food supply are enough and their shelter are safe from flood and strong winds.  

5.Have an extra cash with you. ATM machine might not function well after a typhoon so better withdraw some cash and have it with you just in case of an emergency. You can avoid also the long line withdrawing from an ATM machine. 

6. Make sure your important document also will be wrap in a plastic, water proof if possible, and keep it in a safer place. Park your vehicle in a good place make sure to protect it from sudden flood.

7.If you are in a low laying area where flood is certain. Don't hesitate to evacuate as early as possible to a higher ground. Make sure the things you left behind at home will be elevated to a higher place around the house. Just in case water will come in. Before you left unplug all the appliances or better yet shut down your electricity.

8.Stay in a hotel.  If flood is certain in your place why not stay in a hotel for a day or two before typhoon strikes. Depending on the after effect of the typhoon you can stay shorter or longer. Not necessary expensive hotel. Just as long as it is concrete that will protect you and your family from strong winds and floods.I would strongly suggest this one for people who are in the low laying area and people living near the shore line to avoid storm surge.

9. Pray. We don't have have control over the force of nature. We can do as much as what we can but ultimately we need help from the Divine. Pray not only for your family but also for people around you. Pray to be strong, pray that this too shall pass.
                                                         

#Bring Back our Girls-

If you happen to watch the news or read the news papers this week chances are you heard about BOKO Haram. They are the group responsible for the kidnapping of children in Nigeria, burning buildings and killing / burning innocent people in that country.

Who are They?
Boko Haram Means Western Education is a sin.
Boko Haram is an Islamic militant and terrorist groups and organizations base in the northeast of Nigeria, North Cameron and Niger. It is founded by Mohammed Yusuf in 2002, the organization seek to establish a pure Islamic state ruled Sharia, putting a stop to what it deem as westernization. The group is known for attacking Christians and government targets, bombing churches, schools and police stations, and kidnapping western tourist, but also assassinated members of the Islamic establishment. Violence linked to the Boko Haram insurgency has resulted in an estimated 10,000 deaths between 2012 and 2013.

Today the continue to terrorize and making headlines, kidnapping women and children, killing people across Nigeria.Why are they doing this. I just don't understand the logic behind their cause. Why do they think that western education is a sin and then killing, kidnapping, raping women and children and even selling them for slave or as a wife is not a sin?  What kind of human being are they? They don't want women to be educated.
Why are they so afraid of education and elevating human potential for  a greater  purpose? Are there ways making life better? This act should be stop now.

To me their ruthless and senseless act are even against to the God they worship. They are the misguided soul and uneducated mind. They are just brainwashed by the people who mislead them and use them. I hope the killing stops, the kidnapping stops and let there be peace. Let the 200 plus innocent children kidnapped be return home to their family safely.

Job's for Nurses, Pharmacist & Other Courses.

It is said that if you want to be a hero save one life. But if you want to  save many life be a Nurse. Truly being a Nurse is a very noble job. It’s a great mission in life to share your skills, knowledge and most of all care to other people.

I recently visit a very well know hospital in Metro Manila. I was so impress by the way the nurses handle their patients in the emergency section. They have the smile, very attentive to details and they are very organized.  They seem to be tireless and enjoy their job. I guess there is more to smile about when you know you are helping people.

But sad to say some of them are not being compensated well. In some cases, Nurses are the one paying to the hospital in order to gain experience to work.  I hope this trend would stop and give justice to the hard work our medical professionals has given to us. I hope nurses will not be discourage and just decide to work abroad.

Vindication: This Time Around Pacquiao Win.

The Pacquiao vs Bradley 2. The fight is really good to watch from the start. Both fighters came out aggressive and give their best for the 12 round fight.

Manny Pacquiao, using movements to keep Bradley out of balance and attack him viciously. The Pacman, use his movement well and keep Bradley from landing wild shots. He is punching in and out and very careful on the counter right hand of Bradley. Pacquiao, take some punches from Bradley too. But it did not give any damage to the Pacman. Pacquiao rely on his speed and quickness to land a punch then getaway. There are some rounds that Bradley just stood there and took some powerful shots. The Pacman, unleashed some of the good punches when Bradley go defensive. The Pacman, suffered some cuts in the last round due to head butt that halted the action for a while.

Bradley is the aggressor, in the earlier rounds, but abandon his style once Pacquiao was able to connect. Bradley's jab was good at time’s making Pacquiao stay at bay. His power punches are not accurate for most of the round. Bradley scores some good shots to his credit. He is moving around the ring like what Manny Pacquiao expects. Bradley getaway some good shots from Pacquiao, he knows how to duck and avoid getting hit. But as the round progress it seems that Bradley has run out of gas. He just stood in one corner and waiting for one shot knock out. Pacquiao then attacked, and then get away leaving Bradley air for his wild punches. Bradley does some show boating, but you don’t do that when you are out boxed. He is taunting Pacquiao, but does not throw punches. Boxing is not taunting so the score obviously goes to Pacquioa. At the start of the 6 round it’s all Pacquiao. Bradley can’t keep up the speed and the movement he has earlier in the round. Every time Bradley goes to his corner, he’s coach will give him some Psychology class more than boxing strategy. While the Pacquiao corners, lead by Head coach Freddie Roach, give some technical advice in which Pacquiao execute every round.

There was no knock out on either fighter but the fight is good to watch. Pacquiao, attacked, more active to win this fight convincingly. As the score card was read it was a unanimous decision for the fighting congressman from the Philippines. Pacquiao wins, this time around. This time around no doubt in everybody’s mind, including Bradley. The Desert Storm-Bradley, was outclassed by the Pacific Storm, Pacquiao.

Pacquiao Vs Bradley II (Who Will Win?)

Who will win? In the past this rematch is not necessary for Pacquiao. But coming from a knockout loss to Marquez and hearing a lot from disbelievers that said, Pacquio is no longer relentless as before, this fight could make or break Pacquiao’s future in the ring. However, past success continue to give Pacquiao an edge in the betting odds.Like 4-1 in his favor.It is not guarantee he can win this fight. Not because he is getting old or he lacks punching power, but because Bradley has something to offer too in the table.

Bradley come as undefeated warrior, although he’s punching power is not so impressive but he always find a way to win a fight. In his record he has zero defeat so far. This fight is also Bradley’s redemption and his ticket to be a cash cow king if he win in a spectacular fashion.

If you watch HBO 24/7 both camps are training so hard for this fight. There is no trash talk but more telling their desire to win and win it all in this one good fight.
